William Mincigrucci obtained a MSc in Organic Chemistry cum laude from Alma Mater Studiorum Università di Bologna in 2025 under the supervision of Prof. Alessandra Tolomelli and Dr. Sergio Riva (CNR-Scitec, Milano) with a thesis on biocatalytic amination of glucose derivatives.

Since February 2026 he is a PhD student in the group within the FIS Starting Grant project, investigating novel biocatalytic strategies for organoboron chemistry.
