Luca Pariani obtained a MSc in Industrial Chemistry cum laude from Università degli Studi di Milano in 2024 under the supervision of Prof. Clelia Giannini with a thesis on natural product derivatization for pharmaceutical applications. For his Master Degree, he was awarded the Marinella Ferrari Award. Since November 2024 he is a PhD student in the group supported by a scholarship by Pirelli Tyre S.p.A. and the Italian Ministry of University and Research.

In collaboration with Pirelli Tyre S.p.A, Luca investigates novel bio-based solutions for rubber additives, and their sustainable production.

In his free time, he does artistic gymnastics, a passion that has led him to compete in several Serie A competitions in recent years.
